The Album Cover

The cover was inspired by a picture in a fantasy magazine that Billy Hudson reconstructed years ago.  We agonized over the cover and what picture to display for quite some time.  All the pictures we took came out cheesy and looked too postured so decided on a picture that a fan had sent to us.  We were playing at a Halloween Party at Smitty's in Oak Grove, Tennessee.  Smitty has always been a supporter of SHADED and would let us play no matter how many other bands were to be there - so the picture on the CD is to give a very special thanks to him and his wife.

Cutting the CD

Gregg Hutchins led us through the whole project at his studio - Gregg's Sound Den - in Hendersonville, Tennessee.  We had worked so hard to be ready, we thought we would just go in and lay down the songs and be done in a few hours.  LITTLE DID WE KNOW!

Gregg was great - once we got in the studio, we would keep him there 9-12 hours at a time - and he never lost his cool!  Our deepest thanks to Gregg!

Premier Night

shaded would like to thank everyone for making the "Premier Night" of Edge of Greatness the biggest and best event of our lives.  It far surpassed any of our expectations.

John Catron, owner and operator of Holiday Limousine was fantastic. Arriving to the club on time and unscathed is always a plus, however, retrieving more CD's to be signed and helping us weave through the massive crowd was beyond the call of duty.  And, what's more, he even gave up his personal autographed CD to a fan after the band's on-hand supplies were depleted.

Thanks also to the pumping DJ and dancers!  The night was spectacular!
